Spectre and Meltdown are the two big vulnerabilities of 2018 so far; but what do they do, what are they and how do they work? This talk will cover these CPU bugs and what they put at risk.

Speaker: John Bird, Senior Sales Engineer at Tenable

As a Senior Sales Engineer, John Bird has extensive experience as a vulnerability and risk management advisor, responsible for helping customers identify and tackle their biggest security challenges. Previous roles include engineering and sales at CA Technologies and Architectural Software Design, plus John has presented twice at Ruxcon on topics such as reverse engineering platforms and programming on GPUs.

PLEASE NOTE: Registration for this session will commence at 5.30pm, the session will start at 6pm sharp until 7pm, with networking until 7.30pm.
